i have the most amazing bff in the world. she has so many talents it's unreal. she's creative, artistic, a computer genius, a great photographer, a top notch business owner, and the best thing is she shares!! chari and her faithful assistant, jon, spent their sunday evening posing, entertaining, and snapping pics of the bulkley bunch. no easy task that's for sure. trying to get SIX people to look at the camera, and smile, and keep their eyes open, and all that is pretty near impossible. especially when you're dealing with bulkley's (capri). ugh. anyway, i am so grateful that chari took these pics. we haven't had a family picture taken since indie was 2! thank you charleena! ytb!

brecken came over to play last night and i gave the two bcf's bottles. capri grabbed her pony tail as usual. we looked down and there was little breckers doing the same thing. it was sooo funny and i love that there was no hair so her hand was just plopped on her head. she did it for a long time too! sooo cute! at one point i think she grabbed a hair or two and held them between her fingers!! i love her. i love that capri has brecken for a buddy. we love you brecken!!!!

ornithophobia: the fear of birds. i have it and in a bad way. i'm shuddering and clenching my toes even as i type this. haha funny funny. but not when you're innocently in your safe house and you see a trail of feathers and peek behind the filing cabinet and see the devilish creature ready to flap it's disgusting wings in your face. SCREAM FREAK OUT YELL HIDE!! then you realize about two weeks ago libby told you she saw a bird in the house and you didn't believe her. that vile, germ infested thing has been in my house for two weeks???!!!!! insert shudder. anyway, of course casey was working so i had to call my sweet daddy to come and save the day. as he was taking care of business, i called out, "is it dead?" and he said "yep" and then he yelled, "NOPE!" then there was smashing and carrying on for a bit and then the bird went to heaven. there were about 7 million feathers that i had to clean up and i didn't calm down for about 2 hours.

we went on a drive up the canyon on sunday evening as a family. i wanted to get pics of the kids with the leaves and some pictures of libby in her baptism dress. (baptism in november) sooo, i found a place to take some pictures of her and a guy came and told me i had to pay 25 dollars or leave. i left. we kept driving and all of a sudden we saw jon and chari's family. lucky day!!! chari had her camera and took over. i could never have gotten these amazing shots of my little libbers. thank you charleena!! i love them!

libby and indie decided they wanted to try soccer this year after being chase's faithful cheerleaders for so many years. ALL three of them have their games on ALL the same days and ALL the times overlap and ALL the fields are in different corners of a very very large soccer complex. let's just say i'm not at my finest on these days.

indie is on the pink panthers, and tears it up out there, she's always right in the crowd of 10 four year olds chasing after the ball.

indie got busted for her aggressive pushing and had to apologize and shake hands with the unfortunate little girl that became indie's victim.

libby is super lucky to have her grandpa be the assistant coach of her team, the violent violets. grandpa is the best coach ever! libby surprised me and is just as awesome on the soccer field as she is the dance floor.

spring break at the vegas vacation house

the first activity after swimming in the 55 degree weather was a dinner show at the excalibur with the vegas andersons. merlin sat down and chatted with us before the show and even worked chase into his speech! he talked about having dinner "with his good friend chase" we are suckers for shout outs! wahoooo!! eating big rotisserie chickens with your hands in a packed sauna of a room= ga-ross! but the kids loved it and thought the show was awesome. capri even liked it!

grandma took the kids to see the lions and i stayed and played with capri. she melts my heart every time she smiles or coos. the vacation house was a success for spring break. the kids had a blast and went swimming every day, rain or shine. yogurtland was our favorite place, somehow i didn't get a picture. one highlight was me attempting to shop at h and m with all FOUR of my kids. i am not above bribery and it worked for the most part. i'm just curious what onlookers thought of the crazy mom in over her head. :) grandpa took chase and libs to get books and to a movie one night.we're lucky my parents will put up with us and keep inviting us back! thanks for everything, we are seriously so spoiled (and blessed!) and thanks alison for all the locals only hook ups and dinner and playing with us.

libby loves her aunt "ber". she loves that they have so much in common. they both love the colors orange and aqua, they both are lefties and blondies, and they also have similar dispositions- sooo sweet you can't help but to love them. sometimes i wonder if any of my personality was passed down to this amazing girl. i have my answer: we're both bawl babies!! complete emotional basket cases, at church, watching movies, talking about sensitive things, etc. this is a new development in libby's personality and it's so super cute.

chase was sooooo excited about his car. the stupid car might as well have had no wheels. last place by a landslide. bless his little heart. it was probably harder on me than him. my heart hurt for the little guy. it made me wonder how i'll ever cope with my children's real disappointments if i have a hard time with a piece of wood. i love my snug bug!

chase googled "dsi" for the last month! it was about all he could talk about. somehow he tricked santa into thinking he'd been on the nice list. :)

christmas is always stressful and chaotic but i love spending time with family. i love my family and feel "seriously so blessed" to have each of them in my life. i love you crazy family. i am also so grateful that my kids have been able to have close relationships with their great grandparents. what amazing examples all of them are. i wish my grandma jaacks could have met capri. all in all a good christmas has come and gone. :)

soooo precious! capri claire bulkley 8 pounds, 15 ounces! 20.5 inches long, born at 8:55 am, november 3rd, 2009.

the kids couldn't come into the hospital due to the swine flu. they did get to meet their sister through the window for a quick glimpse but these are the pics when they first got to hold their baby. chase couldn't stop smiling.

libs is going to be the best big sister ever.

well, october is over and gone. maybe this stubborn little monster growing inside my belly will decide that november is when she'll make her debut. let's just pray for the sanity of my family that she'll be here soon! some october highlights:

indie loved all the rides, if they would let her, i'm sure she would have hopped onto the big rollercoasters.

frightmare entertainment, they loved it!

3 monsters not scared of any other kind of monster!

libby wanted a late night party with her besties. pizza, make-overs, pjs, what fun!

libby has adorable friends. halle, grace, miss libs, and sofie.

chase couldn't resist getting in on the action. i also love indie in this one- overjoyed at being able to play with the big kids.

my baby girl is 7! libby is happy, talented, fun, laid back ( how are we related?!), a peacemaker, creative, and beautiful. i love you liberty lynne!

chase's baseball coach got tickets for the twins to go to the owlz game. they got autographs and had a blast.

noah, ethan, and chase, the cutest darn twins players i've ever seen!

chase even got to go down on the field and stand with a real-live owlz player. pretty cool!

chase had a great season of baseball, he had great coaches, his best friend, and a loud cheering section (i didn't get thrown out of one game!). he hit four home runs, or at least ran 4 home runs. he got pretty cocky toward the end and would run the bases even when his coaches would tell him to stop! he figured he could outrun his opponents, naughty boy!

i know all my loyal blog followers (read:2 people) have really been missing me and wondering why i've been such a slacker. well, friends, depression, pregnancy, exhaustion, and chub do not mix well with the blogosphere (at least where i'm concerned). soooo, i'm pregnant and living large! i can't stop myself so i need to prepare you all for the next time you see me. honest to goodness fact: at 14 weeks pregnant, i had already gained TWENTY ONE BIG ONES!!!!! so, i googled pregnancy weight gain and found out that my little fetus weighed about an ounce, and placenta weighed another ounce. so, let's do the math, 21 pounds minus 2 ounces = 20 pounds 14 ounces of PURE BLUBBER!!!! okay more math, if i've already been gaining about 10 pounds a month, we're looking at an 80+ pound adventure! sweet. bring on the stretch marks, cellulite, and self-confidence!!!! excuse me, i need to go eat! help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. the doctor tried to make me feel better by telling me i'm just getting old! sweet! the next post will be about wrinkles, gray hair, and memory loss, stay tuned. . .
